I was going to write it this afternoon.

I was going to write it before dinner.

I was going to write it after dinner.

I was going to write it before bedtime.

I am going to write it just in time for the deadline…

  1. I remember in grade school having to do book reports over Christmas vacation. Of course, like Charlie Brown, I would wait until the last minute to write the darn thing. There was always one kid who did the assignment immediately so they would not have to worry about it over vacation.

    I hated that kid.
